Located in Mt. Hermon, Louisiana, Smith Angus Farm provides high-quality, pasture-raised meats directly to homes and restaurants. You may have learned about Smith Angus through publicity created by a recent judgment. While that judgment was a victory for Smith Angus, it was also a victory for our customers and other farms. An unfavorable judgment would have resulted in higher prices for our customers, which is not our farm's goal.

This recent publicity has increased interest in our products, and we are so thankful for each new customer that has reached out to show your support. Due to the high demand for our products, we revamped our ordering process to make it easier for you to purchase high-quality meat for your family. You now have the ability to see our stock and place your order online! Pickup is still at the farm, but we hope to offer shipping in the future. Here at Smith Angus, we are committed to three things; ensuring our fifth-generation farm thrives; raising animals humanely, economically and sustainably; and providing support to veterans who may need assistance.

Smith Angus is the operational part of the Walter L. Smith Louisiana Century Farm, which has been in our family since 1892. We are committed to rotational grazing and our animals have access to fresh pasture every day. The extra work and planning required for this make all the difference in the world when it comes to cooking amazingly flavorful meats.
